Senior midfielder Whitney Lopez scored the game-winning goal for the Aggies (13-7-1, 9-2 MW) in the 103rd minute. Lopez scored her tenth goal of the year after taking a free kick well outside the 18-yard box and finding the back of the net.

Utah State outshot Boise State 16–10, controlling the game’s pace the entire way. In corner kicks, the Aggies again had a 6-4 advantage.
