MDMA Assisted Therapy A Promising Treatment PTSD: A lot of different treatments are out there for PTSD, but not all of them work for everyone. There is a new treatment called MDMA-assisted therapy (AT) that seems to help people with PTSD who have not reacted to other treatments.

You can use the drug MDMA, which is also known as ecstasy, in a program called MDMA-AT. It has been shown that MDMA can make people feel more connected, empathetic, and trusting. People usually take MDMA-AT in three sessions, with each treatment lasting eight hours. People who go to the classes get MDMA and work with a therapist to deal with their fears.

MDMA Assisted Therapy A Promising Treatment PTSD: MDMA-AT was found to help people with moderate to serious PTSD in a recent phase 3 trial. According to the study, 67% of people in the MDMA-AT group no longer had PTSD after treatment, while only 32% of people in the control group did. That you no longer met the diagnostic standards for PTSD was what remission meant.

MDMA-AT was also found to be safe and well-tolerated in the test. Most of the side effects were mild and short-lived, like feeling anxious, sick, or dizzy.

These test results look very good, and they make me think that MDMA-AT could be a great new way to help PTSD. But more research is needed to confirm what this trial found and find out if MDMA-AT is safe and effective in the long run.

MDMA Assisted Therapy A Promising Treatment PTSD: MDMA-AT is not yet open to everyone. But there are a number of clinical studies going on right now to see if MDMA-AT is safe and effective for PTSD. The Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) is a non-profit group that is leading the study on MDMA-AT for PTSD.
