The Raleigh, North Carolina-based Wake County Animal Centre (WCAC) has announced today that it will prolong its interim closure until the end of November. Due to an epidemic of canine influenza, a contagious respiratory ailment that can seriously sicken dogs, the closure was first put into place on October 6.
